Well, we’re about to go on the road with TBL! and we’re excited for a three night residency at Trading Boundaries in Fletching in East Sussex (just half an hour from Brighton). Tickets are on sale and selling well for the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, The Apex in Bury St Edmunds and The Stables at Milton Keynes. Following that, tickets will be on sale in the next few months for the Civic Theatre, Chelmsford, the Sutton Coldfield (or is that C’Oldfield!?) Town Hall and the Joseph Rowntree Theatre in York. We’re hoping to book more gigs in the New Year. As we’re a self-financed tribute band and not affilliated with Mike Oldfield we have to take it venue by venue. We’ll be performing all of Tubular Bells part 1 – and selections from TB part 2, Tubular Bells 2 (celebrating its 30th anniversary!) and TB3 plus music from another 10 albums by Mike Oldfield including Wind Chimes part 1, Ommadawn, The Songs of Distant Earth and the hit singles Moonlight Shadow and To France.
